兒童普通話課程常見問題：
1. My child doesn’t speak Mandarin yet. Which class should we choose?
小朋友完全不會普通話，應該從哪個課程開始？
For complete beginners, we usually recommend Mandarin Expression Studio A1. Children build their Mandarin foundation through pronunciation, listening, themed vocabulary and simple spoken responses — without being required to recognise Chinese characters first.
對於普通話零基礎的孩子，我們通常建議從 中文表達小劇場 Level A1 開始，通過語音、聽力、分類詞彙和基礎口語反應建立中文語言庫，初期不以識字為主要目標。
2. What is the difference between Mandarin Expression Studio and Chinese Character Cinema?
【中文表達小劇場】和【漢字電影院】這兩個課程有什麼不同？
【Mandarin Expression Studio 】focuses on listening, speaking, storytelling, and expression. 【Chinese Character Cinema】 focuses on visual Chinese character recognition and early literacy. The two programmes can be taken separately or together, depending on your child’s learning needs.
【中文表達小劇場】重點培養聽說與表達能力；【漢字電影院】則通過視覺、圖像和故事建立早期漢字認讀能力。兩個課程可以獨立報讀，也可以配合學習。
3. Which 【Mandarin Expression Studio】 level is suitable for my child?
我的孩子適合【中文表達小劇場】的 A1、A2，還是 A3級別？
Placement is based primarily on your child’s Mandarin ability and learning needs, rather than age alone.

【A2 · Build the Story】 — children ready to organise Mandarin into complete stories
【A3 · Build the Thinker】 — children developing more independent and thoughtful expression

我們主要根據孩子目前的普通話程度和學習需要分班，而不單以年齡決定。

4. Is 【Chinese Character Cinema】 suitable for primary school interview preparation?
【漢字電影院】適合準備小學面試的小朋友嗎？
Yes. Chinese Character Cinema is designed especially for preschool children developing early Chinese character recognition, including children preparing for primary school interviews. Rather than relying mainly on copying and memorisation, children learn to see, understand, and remember Chinese characters through pictures, character meaning, stories, and visual associations.
適合。漢字電影院特別為正在建立早期漢字認讀能力的學前兒童設計，也適合正在準備小學面試的孩子。課程不會只依靠反復抄寫和死記硬背，而是通過圖片、字義、故事和視覺聯想，幫助孩子從「看見漢字」到「理解漢字」，再到「真正記住漢字」。
5. Do you teach Traditional or Simplified Chinese?
課程教授繁體字還是簡體字？
Both are available. We arrange materials according to each child’s learning background, school requirements and learning goals.
繁體字和簡體字均可安排。我們會根據孩子的語言背景、學校學習要求以及個人學習目標，選擇最適合的教材版本和教學方式。
6. Can my child join both programmes?
小朋友可以同時報讀兩個課程嗎？
Yes. The two programmes develop different but complementary skills:
【Mandarin Expression Studio】 → Speak · Express · Tell
【Chinese Character Cinema】 → See · Understand · Recognise
Children enrolled in both programmes at the same time can enjoy 5% off tuition.

是否常常苦惱：為什麼小孩子寧願在外面跑跑跳跳兩個小時也不願意坐下來寫一個漢字？為什麼明明盯着課本二十分鐘，卻一個字都沒讀進去？那一定是因為孩子對「學習」產生了「自動抵觸情緒」，而這種情緒來自「抗逆力」和「自控力」的不足。簡單來說，孩子不能控制自己去做自己不喜歡的事情，玩遊戲比寫漢字讓他們開心，他們當然會選擇玩遊戲，而不是強迫自己去寫漢字。
